Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Neuro Progressive Care to work at a facility in Albany , NY. These are registry positions with our company.



Pay Rate: $70 / hour

*W2



Shifts Available:

• 7am-7pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Neuro Progressive Care


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Compassionate and caring demeanor


• Familiarity with medical terminology


• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association


• Must have up to date certification in the state of NY

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury, seizures, etc.)


• Perform frequent neurological checks and document patient status


• Administer medications, including IV drips and neuro-specific treatments


• Assist with diagnostic tests (CT scans, MRIs) and prepare patients for procedures


• Collaborate with neurologists and the healthcare team on care plans


• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery


• Provide emotional support to patients and families


• Manage patient safety, especially for those at risk of falls or seizures


• Assist with activities of daily living if needed


• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
