Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - ICU Surgical and Neuroscience to work at a facility in Albany , NY. These are registry positions with our company.



Pay Rate: $70 / hour

*W2



Shifts Available:

• 7am-7pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - ICU Surgical and Neuroscience


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Compassionate and caring demeanor


• Familiarity with medical terminology


• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association


• Must have up to date certification in the state of NY


• ICU at least 2 years level one trauma center

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill surgical and neuro patients


• Perform frequent neurological and vital sign checks


• Administer IV medications, drips, and pain management


• Assist with ventilators and other life-support equipment


• Provide wound care and post-operative monitoring


• Prepare patients for surgeries or procedures


• Collaborate with surgeons, neurologists, and the ICU team


• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery


• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records


• Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions


• Ensure infection control and patient safety at all times
