Travel - Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Terra Alta, WV . This is a registry position with our company.

36hrs Travel Package

Weekly Gross Pay = $540

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $15

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $826 (Hotel-455 Meals-371)



Total Weekly ($826 is not taxed)= $1366

Feels like per hour = $37.9444444444444

$1366 div 36 hours = $37.9444444444444



Shifts Available:

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekend shifts, able to work 12 hour shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse


• Must have up to date credentials in the state of WV


• A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Compassionate and caring demeanor


• Familiarity with medical terminology


• Candidate must have an active status with current Licensure with no actions against license, have CPR and First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.


• Prefer the individuals to have LTC knowledge and experience.


• Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients


• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior


• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care


• Maintain accurate patient medical records


• Provide companionship and basic care to patients


• Administer prescribed medications to patients
