Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Surgical Tech to work at a facility in Downey, CA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $36 / hour

Shift details:

• 8 hours


• 40 hours per week


• Days weekends and holidays

Nursing Specialty:

• Operating Room

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with in the last 3 years as Surgical Tech


• Ensure that profiles are submitted for STs who are fully committed to working an 8-week assignment.


• Required certifications include active certification as Surgical Technician, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.

Assignment Information:

Is currently in need of a Surgical Technician (ST) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting and have successfully completed formal training in the perioperative environment. The ST is an allied health professional who will work as part of the surgical team to deliver surgical care. Skills include preparation of the operating room, sterilize equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and counting supplies. This is an essential role in the Operating Room and is cross trained to the Central Processing area.
