Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Job Description

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Special Education Teacher (SPED) to work at a Facility in Colorado Springs , CO. This is a registry position with our company.



Pay Rate: $58 / hour

*W2



Shift:

• Day 5x7.5-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)


• Schedule and Hours: Full time 40 hours, M - F 8am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities


• Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects, tailored to the unique needs of each student


• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student


• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field


• Valid teaching certificate in special education


• Experience working with students with disabilities


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Must have up to date certification in the state of CO


• Full-time at 37.5 hours/week


• All subs need 4 references (client will reach out to them directly). Please provide 2 supervisory, 2 standard references. We just need their name, title, phone number, and email address.


• License/Credential/Certifications required: Active CO Sped General Endorsement or must have ALREADAY APPLIED!


• Must be comfortable being a case manager and writing IEPs


• NO NEW GRADS! MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A SPED TEACHER!
