Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Operating Room (OR) to work at a facility in Torrance , California. These are registry positions with our company.



Pay Rate: $74 / hour

*W2



Shifts Available:

• Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays


• 12 hours


• Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Operating Room (OR)


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Compassionate and caring demeanor


• Familiarity with medical terminology


• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association


• Must have up to date certification in the state of CA


• Level 1 Trauma Operating Room (Required)


• MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)


• Fire Card

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies


• Verify patient identity, surgical procedure, and consent


• Assist in positioning and prepping the patient for surgery


• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures


• Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon (scrub role)


• Monitor the patient's vital signs and condition (circulating role)


• Document all aspects of the surgical procedure


• Count instruments and sponges to ensure nothing is left inside


• Communicate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety


• Provide post-op updates and hand-off to PACU staff
