RN - Emergency Room (ER)

Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN-Emergency Room (ER) to work at a Facility in Torrance, CA. These are registry positions with our company.



Pay Rate: $68 / hour

*W2



Shift Details:

• 12 hrs


• Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed


• Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays

Nursing Specialty:

• Level 1 Trauma ER (Required)

Duties:

• Triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care based on severity of condition


• Deliver immediate and effective care to patients with acute injuries and medical emergencies


• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment


• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as prescribed


• Assist physicians with emergency procedures such as wound care, intubation, and splinting


• Operate and troubleshoot critical medical equipment (e.g., EKG monitors, defibrillators)


• Maintain clear communication with healthcare team, patients, and families during high-stress situations


• Document assessments, treatments, and changes in patient condition in electronic medical records


• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards


• Remain composed and efficient in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

The requirements are:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).


• A valid and current RN license issued by the State of CA


• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)


• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.


• MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)


• Fire Card
