Local Pay: $ 18.20/hour- W2

Shift Details:




  • Night Shift




 Mental Health Sitter Duties & Responsibilities:




  • Provide continuous observation and supervision of assigned patients.




  • Maintain a safe environment and monitor for unsafe or high-risk behaviors.




  • Observe and report changes in behavior, mood, or mental status to nursing staff.




  • Provide calm, respectful, and supportive interaction with patients.




  • Help prevent falls, wandering, self-harm, or other unsafe behaviors.




  • Follow suicide precautions, behavioral health protocols, and facility policies.




  • Maintain patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.




  • Document observations and promptly report emergencies or safety concerns.




  • Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures.




Minimum Qualifications 




  • Current, valid, and unrestricted AZ license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.




  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a MHS.




  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.




  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,....).
