Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Mental Health Monitor/Sitter to work at a Facility in Phoenix, Arizona. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $16 / hour
*W2

Position: Mental Health Monitor/Sitter (MHM/S)

8-DAY & 6-NIGHT PRN openings.

Jail/Clinic: Lower Buckeye Jail (LBJ), in the Mental Health Unit (MHU) – No floating to other jails

Supporting Documentation/Additional Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.


• Experience viewing multiple monitors, observing patients, and reporting findings.


• Minimum six months of experience performing clerical or support services in a medical setting.

Service Description: Monitors patients on suicide watch, in therapeutic restraints, or otherwise at-risk of self-harm or danger to others. Performs visual or video monitoring for patients and reports findings and observations to the licensed nurse. Completes and processes all required documentation legibly, timely, and with accuracy. Must be able to report and document changes in the patient chart regarding patient activity. Follows the directions of the medical personnel in charge of the respective unit.
