Health Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at a Facility in Covina, CA. This is a registry position with our company.



Pay Rate: $33 - $40 / hour

Shift Details :

• Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team and provide healthcare services to students in a school setting in California. The School LVN will work under the direction of the school nurse and in collaboration with school staff to ensure the health and well-being of students during the school day. The ideal candidate will have a valid LVN license in California, experience working with children, and a passion for promoting student health and safety.



Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and provide basic medical care to students with chronic health conditions or acute illnesses

- Perform health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, and assist with health assessments as needed

- Monitor and manage student health records, immunization compliance, and health-related documentation

- Provide first aid and emergency care to students who become ill or injured during school hours

- Collaborate with the school nurse, teachers, and parents to promote a healthy and safe school environment for all students



Qualifications:

- Valid California LVN license

- CPR certification

- Experience working with children in a healthcare or school setting

- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and protocols

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently with students and families
