English 9th grade teacher

Job Description

Health Advocates Network is seeking a English 9th grade teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.



Pay Rate: $45 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach literature, grammar, writing, and vocabulary to 9th-grade students.


• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.


• Help students improve reading comprehension, writing techniques, and analytical skills.


• Assess student progress through tests, essays, and projects.


• Provide feedback and support to students on their assignments.


• Create a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages learning.


• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.


• Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an English 9th grade teacher


• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.


• Strong knowledge of English language arts and high school curriculum.


• Ability to communicate clearly with students and parents.


• Strong writing, organizational, and classroom management skills.


• Experience working with high school students is a plus.
