Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Dentist to work at a facility in Brooktondale, NY. These are registry positions with our company. $100 Sign-On Bonus



Pay Rate: $152 / hour

*1099

Shift Timings: 9a-5:30p (we have flexibility to offer between 16-40 hours per week, ideally we are looking for full time).



Duration: Unknown, open until item is filled internally.

Job Description and Key Skills: Primary clinical duties and responsibilities include:

• 
  
  
  
  • Conduct examinations of individuals teeth and surrounding oral structures utilizing x-rays, mouth mirrors and other diagnostic procedures and instruments to determine pathological or irregular conditions.
  
  
  • Treat dental diseases, injuries and malfunctions of teeth and gums.
  
  
  • Perform restoration of simple and compound cavities.
  
  
  • Perform root canals and crowns.
  
  
  • Administer anesthetics.
  
  
  • Perform oral surgery commensurate with professional qualifications.
  
  
  • Perform extractions of teeth.
  
  
  • Clean teeth by scaling calculus.
  
  
  • Treat teeth, mouth and gum infections with appropriate drugs or by surgery.
  
  
  • Maintain written records of individuals dental treatments.
  
  
  • Advise individuals about dental health practices.
  
  
  • Instruct and direct paraprofessional dental staff in the performance of auxiliary duties.
