Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an Dental Hygienist Assistant to work at a facility in Providence, RI.
Pay Rate: $25 / hour
Duties: Job Summary: As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Job Responsibilities: -Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization. -Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress. -Update patient health history and chart treatment progress. -Expose and develop radiographs (if certified). -Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. -Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments. -Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems. -Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA. Required Certifications & Licensure: -X-ray training or certification. -BLS certification. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -Certified Dental Assistant.
