COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT) TECHNOLOGIST
Location: Naples, Florida

QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registration in Radiology; CT registration within 1 year of hire or transfer
- Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
- BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- Minimum 1 year CT experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (PC, create/save/print documents, input data)
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full understanding of HIS, RIS, PACS to include ordering, monitoring workings, validation of images, and completing studies.
- Produce high-quality CT images using established protocols
- Interview patients, obtain history, explain exams, and assist as needed
- Operate power injector systems and other CT equipment
- Follow radiation safety and departmental protocols for patient and self
- Identify patients with two identifiers (name and birth date)
- Recognize normal and abnormal images; report findings to supervisor or radiologist
- Organize patient information, reports, and prior studies for interpretation
- Maintain proper stock of medical and clerical supplies
- Document equipment failures promptly
- Provide patient care according to age and treatment needs
- Assist with rotating supplies and linen
- Perform other duties as assigned
