Travel - Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Canon City, CO. This is a registry position with our company.



36hrs Travel Package

Weekly Gross Pay = $612

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $17

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1225 (Hotel-749 Meals-476)



Total Weekly ($1225 is not taxed)= $1837

Feels like per hour = $51.03

$1837 div 36 hours = $51.03

Shifts Available:

• Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 0600-1920 for the month of July.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse


• Must have up to date credentials in the state of CO


• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Compassionate and caring demeanor


• Familiarity with medical terminology


• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.


• Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients


• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior


• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care


• Maintain accurate patient medical records


• Provide companionship and basic care to patients


• Administer prescribed medications to patients
