Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Stock Clerk to work at a Facility in Stony Brook, NY. These are registry positions with our company.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Duties of a Motor Vehicle Operator may include the following but are not limited to:

• Will be responsible for driving geriatric residents in wheelchairs to and from trips.


• May need to stay with resident at the trip location, engage in conversation with them, be prepared to help calm an agitated or disorientated resident, and ensure the safety of their personal belongings.


• May be asked to make deliveries or pick up supplies from Hospital, post office, or drive staff.


• Assist in the unloading of all delivery trucks (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.), Deliver received packages to individual department


• Assists, on a weekly basis, with delivery of par carts and supplies to the Unit.


• Restock shelves in medical supply store room.


• On a daily basis pick up specimens and delivers to Hospital.


• Pick up supplies from the Hospital supply room.


• Sort delivered US Government Client mail onto mail cart, deliver mail to each individual department and Unit.


• Take vehicles to Campus gas station for filling on an as needed basis, take vehicles to local repairs shops and car washes on an as needed basis.


• Must possess a NYS Drivers License. Must have a driving record which is free from any major violations.


• Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.


• Must be at ease when conversing with elderly residents.
