Shift Details:

12-Hours Shift

Days, Weekends and Holidays

Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN

RN Duties & Responsibilities:

RNs will provide continuous cardiac monitoring and specialized nursing care for adult patients requiring close observation but not intensive care services.

RNs will care for patients with a broad range of cardiac and medical conditions, including, but not limited to, cardiac arrhythmias, exacerbations of heart failure, post-procedural cardiac recovery, and other complex medical diagnoses requiring continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance, comprehensive clinical assessment, and ongoing medical management.

RNs will also focus on providing pre- or post-operative care for adults for surgical procedures, monitor and interpret telemetry (EKG/ECG) for arrhythmias, rate, and rhythm changes.

Minimum Qualifications

Current, valid, and unrestricted CA RN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Minimum of one (1) year recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience in a community-based acute care hospital.

AHA BLS Certification

MAB or CPI

LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
