Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Critical Care to work at a facility in Sylmar , California. These are registry positions with our company.



Pay Rate: $68 / hour

*W2



Shifts Available:

• Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays


• 12 hours


• Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Nursing Specialty:

• Critical Care

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Critical Care


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Compassionate and caring demeanor


• Familiarity with medical terminology


• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association


• Must have up to date certification in the state of CA


• MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)


• Fire Card

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs and assess the condition of critically ill children


• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed


• Operate and monitor medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, monitors)


• Provide emergency care during life-threatening situations


• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to create care plans


• Support and educate families about the child's condition and care


• Document patient information and nursing care accurately


• Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment


• Assist with procedures and tests


• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
