(2) 7:30A - 4:00P, (4) 8:00A - 8:00P

Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducting nursing assessments

Preparing, implementing, and modifying nursing care plans

Providing health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals and families

Implementing infection control protocols and procedures

Observing and recording individual’s symptoms and care; reporting responses to medications or changes in health

Coordinating and providing nursing care

Minimum Qualifications

Valid NYS RN License

BLS Certification (AHA Approved) are required by the start date of services.

No Psychiatric Experience Required,

Experience not mandatory, new Graduate nurses are welcome and will receive orientation and support

Medical/immunization screening (recent PPD, blood work with titers levels and etc.), SEL, Completed SCRD background form (must be completed with 28 years of consecutive address history), Exclusion search results (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid & SAM), Education verification, Criminal Background check results

Additional certifications may be required.

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
