Occupational Therapy to work at a Facility in
La Salle, IL. This is a registry position with our company.
Pay Rate: $57 / hour

Duties:
- Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation, interviews, and standardized tests.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized therapy plans based on individual needs, goals, and abilities.
- Therapy Sessions: Guide patients through exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques that improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and cognitive function.
- Equipment Recommendations: Suggest adaptive tools, assistive devices, or modifications to the home or workplace to facilitate daily tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, physical therapists, speech therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve independence, safety, and well-being.
- Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document improvements or setbacks.
- Support: Provide emotional and mental health support to help patients cope with the impact of their condition on daily life.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Occupational Therapist
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of IL
