Health Advocates Network is seeking a Occupational Therapy to work at a Facility in La Salle, IL. This is a registry position with our company.



Pay Rate: $57 / hour

Duties:


  • Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation, interviews, and standardized tests.

  • Treatment Planning: Develop personalized therapy plans based on individual needs, goals, and abilities.

  • Therapy Sessions: Guide patients through exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques that improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and cognitive function.

  • Equipment Recommendations: Suggest adaptive tools, assistive devices, or modifications to the home or workplace to facilitate daily tasks.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, physical therapists, speech therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve independence, safety, and well-being.

  • Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document improvements or setbacks.

  • Support: Provide emotional and mental health support to help patients cope with the impact of their condition on daily life.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Occupational Therapist

  • Ability to build rapport with patients

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

  • Must have up to date certification in the state of IL
