Shift Details:

• 
  

  M-F 37.5 hrs per week, 8am-4pm (negotiable)

  
  

Computer Support Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Developing test plans 

  
  


• 
  

  Writing detailed test cases based on project requirements 

  
  


• 
  

  Perform manual testing of DFS applications 

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and document bugs in DFS’ Jira environment 

  
  


• 
  

  Validate fixes by retesting identified bugs 

  
  


• 
  

  Designing and executing manual and automated test plans for new features and releases.

  
  


• 
  

  Building and maintaining a regression test suite to catch issues before they reach production.

  
  


• 
  

  Performing exploratory testing to catch edge cases automated tests may miss.

  
  


• 
  

  Partnering with engineers early in the development process to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements. 

  
  


• 
  

  Tracking, prioritizing, and reporting on defects to ensure timely resolution. 

  
  


• 
  

  Establishing QA metrics (defect escape rate, test coverage, time-to-detect) to measure quality improvements over time. 

  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  

  Proof of eligibility to work in New York State (NYS).

  
  


• 
  

  3 years of experience using Jira for test management or bug tracking.

  
  


• 
  

  5 years of experience performing unit, integration, UAT, regression, and system testing.

  
  


• 
  

  2 years of QA testing experience on Agile projects.

  
  


• 
  

  5 years of experience writing test scripts.
